THE ADNEP GRANT CALL FOR RESEARCH PROPOSALS
The Association of Diabetes Nurse Educators of the Philippines (ADNEP) seeks to promote scientiic inquiry and systematic investigation that will contribute to the knowledge on diabetes and its management.
In view thereof, it calls its members who are currently working on their research or who would like to start their research projects to submit their proposals and avail the twenty thousand pesos (Php 20,000.00) grant that the organization is willing to award.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria (total of 100 points):
1. Feasibility of the study - viability of the research proposal in terms of scope, time , availability of resources and subjects (25 points)
2. Relevance of the topic - connection or relationship to diabetes and its management (25 points)
3. Quality of the submitted proposal - organization, clarity, design (25 points)
4. Significance of the study - potential contribution to the knowledge, organization and society in general (25 points)
RESEARCH PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
1. Title
2. Investigator/s
3. Research Questions
4. Purpose/Relevance to diabetes and its management
5. Background and Signficance
6. Research Design/Description of the Study (must include conceptual/theoretical framework, method, data, collection and analysis procedures)
7. Ethical Consideration
8. Timeline
9. References in APA format
Other Details
1. Updated curriculum vitae of all proponents and accomplished research capsule shall be submitted to ADNEP.
2. Applicants shall present their proposals to the Board of Directors of ADNEP.
3. A memorandum of agreement between the awardee and ADNEP shall be signed by both parties.
4. Grant shall be released as follows: Fifty percent (50%) upon approval of the proposal, twenty percent (25%) upon completion of the study.
5. Recipients of the award shall be required to present their study in the ADNEP general assembly or other event similar to it.
